I finished "My Father's Ashes" last night. OMG!!! It is simply AMAZING!!! You MUST go out and get this book. It is different from the Cabbottown Witch Novels in the storyline, but the writing.....Bruce is very descriptive. As I was reading, I could feel the wind on my face, I could smell the water of the lake, I could hear the crackle of the campfire. The adventure you take with Dan (the main character) is one of self-discovery and amazement. I would love to read a sequel, I enjoyed the characters so much.Product details

Uplifting positive story.
It was a wonderful book. I couldn't put it down. I felt like I was right there on the journey with his son.I give it five stars!

A beautiful memorial of a fathers life and friendships. His son is able to discover the Dad he never knew by taking his ashes to places his father loved. Skillfully written and heartfelt!
This is a special read. Couldn't put it down...wanted to see where the adventure would go next. Life is a journey and so is this book...a beautifully written, heartfelt, story with interesting and memorable characters. Stirs thoughts about our own lives and how well we know those close to us. Once again Bruce has told a wonderful tale. Well thought out and well written. This is the fourth book of his that I have enjoyed and I am looking forward to reading more of his tales of people and places.

This is a story within a story. Bruce Jenvey has taken you on a journey through the life of a father and son, allowing one to know the other, while showing a son what life can truly be. The author, by detailed description, allowed you to immerse yourself in the surroundings of each character the son met along the way. The book kept my interest and was an enjoyable read.
