Ok, so just one, but that's bad enough. I was sitting on my floor last night sewing a cute crocodile (ok, I had gotten frustrated w/ it and thrown it down) and then I saw it. Brown, furry, and big (compared to spiders, not rat-big). I FREAKED out- not exaggerating- jumped on my chair and bawled for 20 min. I was online to a friend who told me that for every mouse you see, there are 3 you don't. Anyway- QUICKLY the decision was made to get a cat (or 2). We meet one of the cats today to see how it does w/ our kids. (And to see if it's of a temperament to catch mice). We're not doing a kitten because I don't want to housetrain it.
On a happier note- tomorrow I'm organizing my craft space. THANK YOU to those who have sent me tips, ideas, and sketches, I can't WAIT!!!
